I think I just don't like water very much. But then again, I only don't like it because I almost drowned in the ocean once. I remember it hurt pretty bad, so really, what I mean is that I don't like pain.

It's only natural to dislike pain. But drowning is of a particular sort. A very petrifying experience, as I understand it. I doubt there's anyone who could not shy away from water after nearly being taken by it.
